Starting with the finest surgical grade high carbon steel wire, we then heat the wire to extreme temperatures of around 1750 degrees Celsius. At this temperature carbon stabilises iron resulting in extreme strength in relation to diameter of the wire. The most popular point manufacturing process is by grinding out a needlepoint.

Our jig heads are made of High carbon steel and have a Chemically sharpened needlepoint. all jig heads have angled notched holder and are suitable for fresh or salt water.
