How to find a Jewfish?
The places fish are found are called “structures” for example, rock ledge, steep drop offs, a sand spit, a surf cutter, break wall, etc. Fish seek these places out to school, for protection and also for ambush. The tides are also an important consideration of the rocks and beach. As structures change according to the tide. Some fishing structures might be run up spots and some might be run out spots. You will need to do your homework on your structures and observe them before fishing. Look for good white water coverage over the fishing area. The fish hide under the cover from bird life and the fish are also using the waves to get a feed themselves, in all the tossing small fish can become disorientated and easy prey.
When fishing the rocks, always put safety first before fish and wear the right gear.
